Orders

How to find my order on website?

Just click on 'Your Account' at the top of any page, sign in, and go to 'Order History.' which will show you whether your order has been dispatched, or is still waiting to be sent.
If you can't find your order on our system, it may be that the order didn't place it successfully. Click 'View Cart' at the top of any page to see if your goods are still there. If they are, click 'Proceed to Checkout' and place your order.

How do I track my orders?

Once we dispatch your order, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

How long does order processing take?

Order by 11 AM AEST Mon-Fri for same-day (most likely) dispatch. After 11 AM/weekends/public holidays? We'll dispatch it next business day.

How do I modify the items in my order?

Contact sales@yeayunsilk.com.au as early as possible to make the changes. Please note that we are unable to make change to the order once the order ships.

How do I cancel or change an order? or my shipping address?

If you need to make a change to your order, email us ASAP at sales@yeayunsilk.com.au with your order number and what you need changed in your order.

Having had such a good sleep the night before, our warehouse team is super-efficient and usually send orders on their way as soon as it arrives in our system. Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be changed.

Or please wait for the parcel to arrive, then you can choose either to keep it or contact us for the return (customer has the responsibility to pay the return postage and keep the items in the original/unpacked/unwashed/unused condition. )

Where is your store or showroom?

Currently, we operate exclusively online to keep our prices competitive while maintaining premium quality. This allows us to focus on crafting exceptional silk bedding and ship Australia-wide directly from our Melbourne warehouse.

How to take care of silk duvets?

Always use with a duvet cover.

Never wash or wring silk quilt cores, as silk fibers are delicate and prone to damage.

1. Proper Air Drying for Silk Quilt Care

For optimal maintenance of your silk quilt core:

Frequency: Air monthly in shaded,
well-ventilated areas

Duration: 1-2 hours for drying time.

Method: Always lay flat during drying to:

  • Preserve silk's natural elasticity
  • Prevent fiber damage from UV exposure
  • Maintain moisture balance

Note: Never dry in direct sunlight as UV rays can
degrade silk fibers over time.

2. Moisture Protection & Proper Storage

Always keep dry: Avoid damp environments that may
cause mildew

Important precaution: Wrap desiccants in breathable
fabric to prevent direct contact with silk

Note: Direct contact with desiccants may affect silk's
natural texture.

3. Cleaning & Stain Removal Guide

For Localized Stains:

Preparation

  • Use only cold water and pH-neutral detergent
  • Test cleaning solution on inconspicuous area first

Cleaning Process

  • Gently dab (don't rub) stained area with soft cloth
  • Blot moisture immediately with dry microfiber towel
  • Repeat if necessary using minimal liquid

Drying

  • Lay flat in cool, shaded ventilation
  • Never use heat or direct sunlight

Important Notes:

✗ Never wash or wring silk quilt cores, as silk fibers are delicate and prone to damage.

Why Pure Cotton products shrink？

Don't worry if you notice slight shrinkage during the first wash of our pure cotton products—this is completely normal

  • Natural cellulose structure tightens with heat exposure

2. Key Influencing Factors
✓ Weave type: Twill shrinks less than plain weave
✓ Thread count: Higher counts shrink slightly more
✓ Water temperature: Hot water increases shrinkage

3. Manufacturing Process

  • Tension from spinning/weaving creates "memory"
  • First wash releases tension (3-5% shrinkage typical)

Pro Care Tips

  • Wash cold (≤30°C) with similar colors
  • Tumble dry low or line dry
  • Iron while slightly damp if needed
